Le coin français 
Students continued to practice their writing skills through a series of journal entries. Here they are connecting drawings to written text, using their knowledge of sentence starters, vocabulary and oral language phrasing to write with purpose and a clear idea. Here are some photos of our "farfadet" leprechaun writing, weekend fun and more. 
Les mathématiques
Students worked with dominoes this week to strengthen their subitizing, mental math and addition skills. They learned two new games and were challenged with the task of creating their own game with the goal of using the dominoes to compare numbers, add and subtract.

Students came home today with their shoes and belongings bag. Please check that shoes still fit their feet, wash the bag and any clothing inside and return the bag and shoes on the first day of school
