Le coin français
This past week students celebrated kindness and discussed ways to show kindness towards others. They learned about the history of Pink shirt Day and how one must stand up to bullying. Students created "un jardin de gentillesse", to help spread kindness throughout the school and through inspirational messages. It is on display in our main gathering space for all to enjoy. In math we continue our learning about the number 100. The game "course vers 100" was played in class prior to being shared at home during the celebration of learning and we hope you enjoyed playing it at home as well as learning about the bonhomme math project.
Science
Students enjoyed the colour mixing experiment in class. Ask them to tell you more about how it worked and what they noticed? Here are some cool before pics and a short video showing the expriment. It was pretty neat to see the colours blend and mix together.
Potpourri
